Could you conceive going through the emotional overhead in a luxury wedding but falling short of putting your soul into every little detail? Allow yours truly to brag a bit about the Orvel family’s fanciful wedding tradition. It’s possible that if you’re from Chicagoland you know we take pride in a proud practice of throwing amazing wedding events.

We eat, breathe and fantasize about weddings. Our friends include wedding planners, caterers, and photographers. My little sister is a very charming wedding host and pianist–there’s nobody better! Recently my assistant has considered the creme de la creme of planners such as these: wedding resources. Of course, I practically went to school for weddings. As a stellar high class wedding planner without a minute to spare, I am at long last working for myself, planning my destination wedding with a little help from sister. And what’s more, I am so in love! Anybody might suppose I’ve been swept off my world by the most wonderful guy!

My luxury wedding planner partner friend and I, are peas in a pod and total girlfriends. She is wholeheartedly supportive of me and my adorable Doggie. The other day, we busted out the old polaroids of mother’s horrifically tacky Dallas wedding. Good times funny, but styles change. There’s a lesson about timelessness in that.

I’m so excited for my wedding. Grandfather is so generous to be taking care of all the reservations, and the entire invite list will be at one of the tallest Chicago wedding venues! I won’t reveal to you date and time obviously I don’t want any wedding crashers. Plus my little doll face future hubby is a successful lawyer and hinted to me he pulled some “strings” for the wedding reception. It’s a surprise. I fully expect it will bring the house down! We can all admit that’s what a Chicago wedding is definitely about. The energy of living.
