Admin Comments: Advanced2 Skill Level, This skill level appears when the city’s league is large adequate and we have enough returning tennis players. The addition of this skill level allows the league to fine tune the levels and the matches incline to be more evenly matched. Playoff qualifiers play in the Advanced playoffs.

4.0 Has good strokes, including directional control and depth on both forehand and backhand sides on moderate tennis shots, plus the ability to use lobs, overheads, approach strokes and volleys with some success. Occasionally pulls errors when serving.

4.5 Masters the use of power and spins and beginning to handle pace, has good footwork, can control depth of shots and is beginning to vary game plan according to opponents. Can hit first serves with power and accuracy and place the second serve. Tends to over hit on difficult tennis shots.
